Privacy Policy
What we collect
Two things, both of which you hand us directly:
- The video file you upload, together with anything the upload form asks for — your name, your email address, and which show you are applying to.
- Anything you write to us by email or through the contact page.
The upload itself runs through Google Forms and Google Drive, so Google's handling of that file is governed by their terms as well as this policy.
What we do with it
Your video is used to produce your compressed file and to email that file back to you. We do not publish it, share it, sell it, hand it to a casting body, or use it as a promotional example. Your email address is used to deliver your file and to answer you.
If you opted in on the upload form, we may also send you occasional casting tips. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect the service.
How long we keep it
Source videos and compressed copies are deleted once your order is complete and any follow-up is settled. If you want your file removed sooner, emailhello@castingcompressed.com and we will delete it.
Who else touches it
Google (forms, file storage and email delivery) and our website host. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@castingcompressed.com and we will action it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under the GDPR or the CCPA; we intend to honour those requests regardless of where you are.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
